This is the beginning of a journey that has been in the making from the beginning of time. How is this? Because God knew of this journey long before it ever started for us. Our names are Brent and Joy and we are in the initial phases of adopting a little girl from Russia. We have talked of adoption from the beginning of our marriage, but never pursued these thoughts further than the casual discussion. Two biological children later, God has brought us back around to the thoughts of adoption. Adoption should be such an everyday way of life for those of us who enjoy a personal relationship with the Lord, as we ourselves have been “grafted”, or adopted if you will, into His family.

This blog will serve as a way for us to keep family and friends updated throughout this exciting, and yes, frightening journey, but one from the Lord nonetheless.
