We are here. We have been busy with the start of school, and a surprise room make-over. The boys went to visit Grandma/Grandpa Coats a couple of weeks ago…so…Daddy decided it would be a great surprise to repaint their room while they were gone. We had a great time getting it together. We had decided we were going to paint our little girl’s room brown with pink polka dots. When we talked of painting the boy’s, I knew it would have to be camo!! So, we decided to paint both rooms with the same base brown. I love it!! It is a rich creamy color. It went great with the camo curtains I “made”. We used a cane pole fishing rod as the curtain rod, my dad had some antlers which were just perfect for the rod holder, and then camo netting for the curtain. They already had blankets and bedding they had been given, so we were set in that area. Nana had made some pillow cases in camo, with their names, so we used those. My dad and I went shopping, and he found a light switch cover with antlers on it. Too cool! Of course, the boys just had to have that!! Momma thought it pretty cool too. I found some white fan blades which will go just beautifully in Analise’s room, and daddy replaced all her outlet covers with white too. I already have the pink polka dots to put on the wall, just waiting to get everything organized again in that room. It makes it seem a bit more real to be working on her room. I’ll be glad when I can go in and sit and dream!!
Right now it seems as if there is no movement right now. It has been very quiet. Not sure if it is at all due to the issues over there now or not. But we know God is bigger than “issues” and can smooth the road right out when the time is right. I look forward to seeing His hand in the process.

Well, it was the end of July when I last posted. It is now mid-August. We still are in a holding pattern. We are at a 5-8 mos. wait now. We have heard there have only been 3 girl referrals since Jan. with our agency, while there have been 8 boy referrals. We are praying that we will see movement during the next months. We did have to redo our translation fee-we made the check out to AWAA, and it needed to be made out to MD Consulting, and we had to use a certified check this time. We also heard from our FC, and she mentioned that as of now, the conflicts should not alter anything for our families pursuing adoption. The areas they work in are away from conflict, and officials say all is the same. Be praying for resolution and that no changes will be made to adoption movement. -except a speed up!! =)
We are busy preparing for a new school year. We had our orientation tonight. I’m looking forward to a great year! It is always exciting to start a new year. School begins on Thursday and I will look forward to the distraction.
I’ll post any new info we receive, and if none comes, I’ll let you know anything else going on in our lives.
