Wow, so here we are, almost ready to celebrate a brand new year!! I can hardly believe it. I’m excited to venture into this new year, where I pray a sweet baby girl will be added to our family. I hope you all are doing well. Have a wonderful and safe New Year.

Our blog has been offline for a week or so unbeknown to us. I have upgraded the blog software and added a little music. Thank you for visiting.  Happy New Year!

No big news as of yet. I was just looking at our blog and realized it had been a while since I’d posted. We are almost finished with school before enjoying Christmas break. We have 3 1/2 days left. I’m home with my littlest one today, he is not feeling good at all. Daddy pulled morning shift, I came on at 10:00. I went to school to get the day started, and then came home.

Our family coordinator is sending our expiration chart today sometime. This just tells us when the items in our dossier begin to expire, all helping us to stay on top of them, not letting them expire before hand. It was encouraging in that, she was looking through our file. Yes, I’m praying we may be getting ready to be registered. We will see in the next month or so. Be praying for us that it will at least seem to go quickly until that time.

Brent and I have recently discussed the fact that we are now at about the 2-5 month wait. Sounds good. Be praying we will hear something sooner than later.

I start my student teaching in January and it lasts 16 weeks. Thankfully I will be able to do it in my current classroom. Even though I have a teaching degree, since I am getting my masters in Special Ed., I have to do another student teach to qualify for credentials under Special Ed.  I can only miss five days, so…that would be about all I would need to miss for the first trip. Of course, it would be great if the trip happened over Spring break!! Anyway…just thinking…thought I’d share.
