Lydia's Purple Bracelet
Amethyst chips, lavender and white pearls, and sterling silver toggle. Price $22.00 Lydia's personality strikes me as a woman with regal character. She has business sense as well as care and concern for her family as we see in Acts 16:14-15. Lydia was also a wonderful example of servitude through hospitality. We all have our own special gifts that God has given us. Some of us sing, teach, encourage, and on and on it goes. It takes all kinds of talents together to accomplish the Lord's will. Lydia's special gift appears to have been that of hospitality. The Bible tells us that the Lord opened her heart to the words spoken by Paul. She heard not only with her ears, but more importantly with her heart. Immediately after being baptized, along with her household I might add, we see she gets right to work by offering her home and her time to care for the needs of the disciples. Oh that we would be a people that would get right straight to work for the Lord. We need to have willing hearts to do God's will right away and be willing to serve.
