 Mementos of Heaven was the first idea for this series. I have often wondered what my heavenly abode will look like. How amazing that Christ is preparing it Himself!  The pearly gates, crystal sea, streets paved of gold, and walls of beautiful gems are beyond our comprehension. After researching the gemstones listed in Revelation 21, these are the stones I have assembled. They are listed in order as follows: jasper (small deep red), sapphire (actually lapis lazuli; denim blue), chalcedony (actually emerald; deep green chip), emerald (actually garnet; rich red), sardonyx (translucent white), sardius (carnelian; orange/red chips), chrysolyte (peridot; clear, light green chip), beryl (small pink {morganite}, white {goshenite}, blue {aquamarine}), topaz ( blue chips), chrysoprasus (solid, light green chip), jacinth (agate; tan/gray/cream), amethyst (purple), pearl.
